The De Beers website, developed in English and Japanese, is a shop window to De Beers cut-diamonds and exclusive diamond jewellery. The website showcases the De Beers diamond range, each cut diamond certified with the unique De Beers mark of authenticity - a mark of quality, beauty and assurance that can only be provided by De Beers authorised boutiques and an exacting standard that the website also had to meet. The De Beers website runs on the > large Content Management System.
Although the 4Cs of diamond appreciation (Carrat, Cut, Clarity and Colour) have their place, the De Beers philosophy is that ultimately it is the diamond that chooses you. Based on this premise, the purpose of the site is to build awareness of the De Beers retail network and specifically to encourage visitors to book an appointment at an exclusive De Beers store.
