    Junior Project Manager
    Location London Office

    Reporting to: Senior Project Director

    Overall description
    As Junior Project Manager you will be responsible for day to day project delivery support of a number of projects, specifically supporting the Project Managers and Account Directors. You will help manage project preparation and progress through liaison with internal teams and external suppliers, and help to ensure that all our work is exceptionally good quality and that projects are bought in on time. You may have client contact and, therefore, will be expected to understand the context of the project in terms of your client’s business. The role requires a good knowledge and understanding of project management process, the ability to create schedules and budgets, to alert the senior project manager or account team to over runs in cost and any delivery issues. Communication skills and a proactive nature are key.

    Responsibilities

    Client facing 

    • Take client feedback and requests on-board and communicate to the internal project teams.
    • Ensure that all client requests are dealt with internally in a timely and professional manner to ensure smooth running, “a-class” service at all times.
    • Support regular and clear communication with the client regarding project status and advise of any changes to scope, cost or schedules - ensuring full client buy-in and approval as necessary.

    Financial responsibility
    • Support Project Manager in accurate quoting for any new work or recharging for any additional work.


    Client team responsibilities 
    • Follow project development and delivery processes.
    • Use project management tools.
    • Share knowledge with the team.
    • Able to juggle projects and stay calm/keep positive under pressure.
    • Brief designers effectively and clearly on projects – with particular attention to timescales and budgets.
    • Deal tactfully and effectively with your colleagues.

    Quality Control 
    • Meticulous proofing
    • Ensuring quality control by getting work checked by the Art or Creative Director and proofed before going to clients
    • Good presentation of work – accompanying work (design or editorial) with explanatory e-mails etc when sending to clients; using company fonts etc

    Technical
    • Have a very good working knowledge of Powerpoint, Excel, Word, MS Project and all usual office based software.
